Shure Beta-58A Vocal Microphone
For which applications is the Beta 58A best suited? The Beta 58A is a premium vocal microphone for professional lead and background vocals on stage or in the studio.
What is the difference between the Beta 58A and the legendary SM58®?
Both models are vocal microphones with bright midrange sound quality and low-frequency roll-off. The Beta 58A has higher sensitivity and high-frequency response, so the sound is clearer and more detailed. Unlike the cardioid polar pattern of the SM58®, the Beta 58A adopts a supercardioid polar pattern, which can better suppress unwanted noise and echo.
Function
Frequency response specially designed for vocals, with bright mid-range sound quality and bass frequency attenuation, which can fully control the proximity effect
Uniform supercardioid pattern provides high gain before feedback and effectively rejects off-axis sounds
Neodymium magnets provide high signal-to-noise ratio output
Sturdy steel grille protects against wear and damage
Advanced pneumatic damping system minimizes the transmission of mechanical noise and vibration
Minimize the effects of load impedance changes
Legendary Shure quality and reliability
